Fall 2026 FBI/LACN Basic Negotiator Course

The FBI and LACN will be hosting a 40-hour Basic Crisis Negotiations Course from November 30 through December 4, 2026, at the EBRSO Recruiting / Training Center in Baton Rouge, LA.

This course will focus on the basic negotiation process and will consist of classroom-based instruction, debriefs, and scenario-based training.

This course meets the recommendations set forth by the National Council of Negotiator Associations (NCNA) for a Basic Crisis Negotiations Course.
