FBI / LACN Basic Crisis Negotiations Course – Fall 2026

The FBI and LACN will be hosting a 40-hour Basic Crisis Negotiations Course from November 30, 2026 through December 4, 2026, at the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office Recruiting Center, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Additional information about location and parking will be provided to those registered prior to the beginning of the course.
This course will focus on the basic negotiation process and will consist of classroom-based instruction, debriefs, and scenario-based training.
This course meets the recommendations set forth by the National Council of Negotiator Associations (NCNA) for a Basic Crisis Negotiations Course.
Due to the scenario-based training there is a limited number of seats available. Please register promptly.
